• Founded in 2021, London Art Roundup is an independent publication that showcases and reviews noteworthy and interesting exhibitions and artists worth seeing.

Check in on Mondays for a weekly Roundup of what’s happening in London. Full length reviews are published as we see stuff worth examining in detail. The recommendations and reviews are completely independent and entirely our own, always written after we’ve seen the show. All of the photos were shot by us, on iPhones.

Nothing on the site is ever sponsored or paid for.

As a general rule, we follow the Jay Rayner philosophy and try not to write bad reviews about art we don’t like. Art appreciation is highly personal and very subjective. Just because we don’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t like it. If something is missing from the site it’s either because we haven’t seen it yet, or maybe it just wasn’t to our taste. Unless it’s a ticketed show or we’ve been invited to a press preview. Then you’ll find out how we truly feel.

So if you love Art… follow, like, comment, bookmark and tag your friends too. Especially if you’re a Londoner! We’re happy you’re here.

Note: The website launched in early 2022. Prior to that, the weekly roundups and in-depth reviews were published on Instagram, which is no longer available.

  • Why, yes. We would gladly let you pay us to write about art.

Show texts, gallery and artist interviews are all commissions that we accept for placement on your (or other 3rd party) sites. Please contact us via this form with a brief proposal and timeline and we’ll get back in touch to discuss.

  • Yup, now there’s a newsletter! It contains helpful links to the latest Roundup and other recently published reviews… but there’s so much more!

The additional content that you won’t find anywhere else includes: art world insights, a brief overview of why other shows didn’t make the Roundup, a list of upcoming shows we’re excited about and Anonymous Art Anecdotes.

Published weekly on Tuesdays at noon.
